The Cape parrot is a rare site to see and probably one of the most overlooked parrots. They are one of the best all around pets you could ask for. They are more skilled speakers than African Greys, they rarely bite and are very sweet quiet birds. Excellent for first time bird owners or noise sensitive living situations.  The female adults have orange feathers on their head while the males orange feathers dissappear when reaching adulthood.
